Are There Side Effects To Using Your Vibrator?

I can hear the snigger coming from my girlfriends and my regular customers. I know what you're thinking... "of course there are!! Fabulous orgasms!!" - and you would be absolutely right, but this is actually a really valid question.

So imagine you're a guy, and you know that your girlfriend uses a vibrator on a regular basis. You try to keep an open mind and not feel like you're being replaced, but you can't help but think "is she addicted to her vibrator?" and "will I still be able to make her orgasm?" "Can a penis even do what a vibrator does?"

Well, the answer is no. A penis cannot rotate. It cannot pulsate. But ultimately, no vibrator can do what a penis can do, because a penis is attached to a man and a vibrator will never be able to provide the intimacy of human contact and the pleasure that creates.

Did you know that as many as 75% of women cannot orgasm without clitoral stimulation? So some women never come without using a vibrator, and some will come a lot harder and faster. There is no shame in only being able to come by using your vibrator.

Luckily for you guys, the vibrator has evolved since it was first used in a doctor's room to alleviate "hysteria". Nowadays, there is a wide range of vibrators that are made to be used by couples, and there are now even ones that are just for men. The vibrating cockring is - rightly so - one of the most popular toys we sell, as it provides clitoral stimulation to the woman during penetration and stimulates the man as well.

I think I'm moving off topic, so let's get back to it - are there side effects from using a vibrator? A study done in Indiana showed that some women experienced numbness (16%), irritation (10%) and even swelling (8%), while 71.5% of the women experienced no negative side effects at all.

So what about the positive side effects... for these I know to be many... Orgasms. Orgasms relieve stress, help you to focus, alleviate insomnia, helps alleviate pain, increase your libido, keep you looking young, make you live longer and actually get better with age. I could go on about them more, but this is a blog about vibrators and not orgasms.

So there we have it. The positive side-effects of using a vibrator far outweigh the negative ones, whether you're using it alone, or with your partner.
